1 box lemon cake mix
4 ounces cool whip not lite
1 egg slightly beaten
3 tablespoons oil
FROSTING:
8 ounces cream cheese softened
1/2 stick softened butter
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Combine cake mix, Cool Whip, oil & egg. Mix well, & refrigerate dough overnight.
To bake, make 1" balls, roll in sugar, & place on Pam-sprayed cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, until very lightly browned.
Frosting:
Mix softened cream cheese & butter. Add powdered sugar & vanilla & mix well.
Spread thinly over cooled cookies.
Freezes well.
